Summers are for family reunions, and what a great time for a photography session! You know you’ve had an awesome photo session when you decide to jump in the water with your clothes on (: or maybe that just let’s you know how hot it was! Late June, this evening was a scorcher! And during wildfire season and the smokey orange glow made for some pretty epic color saturations…could I get this color situation without the destruction please?

This family’s Lake Coeur d’Alene house was built in 1893, by Grandpa Jack’s great-great grandfather. Family portraits on the steps of this historic gem have been a yearly tradition. I am so honored to have been asked to be this year’s photographer. Three generations together at a home that’s been in the family for six generations, ah, so incredibly special! Thank you Porter Family for choosing me to photograph you all this year, I hope to get the opportunity next year too!

Anna, Aron and Greyson are such a sweet family. I am so excited for them to welcome their new baby girl earthside soon! It was a joy to photograph this family. I especially loved how much Greyson loved the milkweed seeds!

Newborn + Parenthood photography is close to my heart. I am a mother of three (9, 6 & 3) I know how delicate and fleeting these moments are. Babies change so much in the first week, you want to photograph every second. I am so happy for this new family of five <3 So much LOVE fills this house <3
