I adore this sweet family’s Harry Potter inspired photography session. The idea behind the session was to embrace the essence of a Wizard Family Picnic- and I absolutely love the way it inspired poses, expressions and the attitude of their session.

The family wore a smart mix of complimentary colors, patterns and textures based on a sky blue color pallet. Elizabeth’s peter pan collar dress and flower crown crafted by Thyme on St. Mary’s was the perfect nod to the 1920s channeling the feel of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Once the picnic blanket was set, the family settled in, started reading books and practicing spells with their wands. I photographed so many naturally perfect images…it was, well, MAGICAL!
